MFGA recognizes its hunters and anglers

The 23rd Annual Morinville Fish and Game Association (MFGA) Brag Night and Wild Game Supper was held Saturday at the cultural centre. The sold out event featured awards presentations for adults and youth, a live and silent auction and a variety of raffles.The MFGA supports wildlife habitat, Narrow Lake Conservation Camp, Camp HeHoHa Disabled Fishing Day and send a number of children to camp. This year’s funds will help build a new clubhouse. which is to start construction this spring.

Amounts raised at this year’s event were not available by our deadline.

Top: A number of adults and youth took home awards. Some accepted in person, others had awards accepted by family members. Recipients were Jack Reader (Adult Bear trophy), Wayne Bhnisch (Antelope trophy), Darrell Lunn (Adult White Tail), Ben Bochar (Youth Elk and Novice Hunter), Dylan DeRudder (Adult Elk and Adult Walleye), Lynae DeRudder (Ladies Highest Score and Adult Mule Deer), Camile DeRudder (Adult Perch and Adult Pike) , Anastazia Bochar (Youth Pike trophy), Sam Mckale (Youth Walleye), and Katrina Anderson (Scenic Photography.)
