The Orijen Sabretooths took gold in the City Championships Saturday. The girls defeated NW Edmonton 61-21 to take the honour. They will take part in provincials in Calgary this weekend.

More medals for Morinville athletes
Alexis Morgan-Taylor helped her team, the St. Albert D, take gold in Special Olympics competition held in Grande Prairie Feb. 20-22. The D won 6-5 in overtime against Vegreville Feb. 22.
Michelle Tschetter, also from Morinville, played on St. Albert C team and brought home a bronze in the same competition.
