Morinville, Alberta – On July 25th, 2015, at approximately 11:42 a.m., Morinville RCMP responded to a report of a missing 2 year old female child who had been playing at a park in the Lakes Subdivision with her siblings. The child from Morinville, was found unresponsive in a nearby pond by RCMP. Life saving efforts were initiated, but the child was later pronounced deceased by Emergency Medical Services. Morinville RCMP and the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate. The RCMP will not be releasing any further details at this time.
