Fall food fun
The fall has plenty opportunities to enjoy local food. Friday night’s Taste of Morinville event at the cultural centre put several local caterers and chefs together to show off their culinary talents, and the Nov. 7 Applefest event at the Rendez-Vous Centre will bring out the best apple creations for residents to try.

Western Canadian Challenge
The 21st Annual Lion’s Western Canadian Challenge Volleyball Tournament took place in Morinville from Oct. 15-17. Twenty-four teams hit the courts this year with 12 male and 12 female teams competing.

Crafts at Aspen
On Oct. 13 seniors gathered in the Aspen craft room with clear glasses, water and white glue, brushes and pictures cut off of decorative napkins for a fun craft creation.
Edith Kowalski was in the craft room at Aspen busy with her craft creation.
Raymonde Riopel was busy brushing the paper bird onto the glass with a mixture of white glue and water.
