Elvis has left the building

Hailed as one of the most talented Elvis Tribute Artists (ETA) in the world, Cody Ray Slaughter has performed across the United States and on Late Night with David Letterman. The ETA made a stop in Morinville Nov. 17 as part of his Nov. 14 to 25 Canadian tour. The show is a tribute to the 60th anniversary of Elvis’ rise from small town to International phenomenon.

Snowflakes & Stars

The annual Snowflakes & Stars Christmas Market took place at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre Saturday. The event included a showing and sale by the Morinville Art Club.

Library holding Silent Auction

The Morinville Community Library’s Silent Auction fundraiser kicked off Monday morning and will run until Sunday at 4 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be used to support library programs. See Page 24 for details.
