Getting active
Mrs. Wood’s Grade 3 class and Mrs. Webb’s Grade 1 class at Morinville Public School are teaming up to participate in a contest with the Oilers. The Energize Oil Country contest has students getting get 60 minutes of activity every day, and participating in bonus photo contests for chances to win great prizes from the Oilers. Students will continue until March. The grand prize is a class trip to an Oilers Game. This photo by Heather Palmer shows students taking the pledge to do 60 minutes of activity every day.

Finishing touches
Workers were busy on the roof of the condominium units located on 101 Laval Avenue and 102 Montcalm Street last week. The condo was partially destroyed by a fire last July. Units 3 and 4 were completely burned through.
