Results are in from the 2015 Resident Satisfaction Survey Sturgeon County put out between Nov. 17 and Dec. 11, 2015, and 88 per cent rate the quality of life as good to excellent.

Respondents had the option to submit feedback via web survey hosted on a third-party firm confidential web server or to fill out a hard copy. Of the County’s approximately 19,500 residents, 794 or just over 4 per cent participated

“Every two years Sturgeon County conducts a survey to gather feedback from residents about quality of life and services that we provide; I would like to thank those residents who took the time to participate in the survey,” said Mayor Tom Flynn in a County release this week.

Survey questions included quality of life in the County and the importance of and satisfaction with services available. Additional questions touched on the value of services for property taxes paid and communication with County employees.

The County says Council will use the survey and other sources of public input in making decisions on improving service delivery within Sturgeon County.
