Primeau held their Box Social on Friday with 55 lunches ready to serve 215 participants. The lunches were made by the boys this year and the girls did the bidding. This year the proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards Development and Peace for the Pope Francis Elementary School in the Philippines.
To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Greater St. Albert Catholic Regional Division a partnership was launched between GSACRD and the Catholic Organization for Development and Peace to support survivor communities of Super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
GSACRD has committed to raising $200,000 to go towards the construction of a school. A total amount of $1757 was raised on Friday, beating last year’s total by $57.
