The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) is thanking the Lions Club for all of its support over the last 30 years.
The Lions of Alberta Foundation is a founding partner of STARS, and the first flights were flown as the Lions Air Ambulance. The Lions Club has played a vital role in getting support from both the rural and urban communities.

The commitment of the Lions Club has been instrumental in making STARS the organization it is today, having flown more than 30,000 missions from six bases across Western Canada.

To celebrate STARS and Lions 30-year partnership, STARS has created a special banner patch for each Lions Club across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
