May 13, 2016, the francophone & francophile community from Legal, Morinville and St. Albert, were gathering in support of the evacuees of Alberta Fires.
Seventy-five people at the Fréchette’s barn in Legal helped raise $850 for the Canadian Red Cross.
Fêtes de Chez Nous committee organized the event in collaboration with Chemin Chez Nous and the team of volunteers from Higher Grounds coffee in Morinville.
Thanks to the nice weather, the guests were able to: savor the delicious pulled pork sandwiches with mango salsa from the Food Truck “Streetside Celebration”; attend the open-air concert of the duo Brasser Brassens; enjoy an excellent cappuccino prepared by coffee experts from Higher Grounds and finish the evening with a barn dance under the stars.
Le 13 mai 2016, se réunisait la communauté francophone & francophile de Legal, Morinville et St-Albert, à l’occasion d’un concert bénéfice en appui aux évacués des feux de forêt en Alberta.
75 personnes présentes à la grange des Fréchette à Legal, ont permis d’amasser 850$ pour la Croix Rouge Canadienne.
Le comité des Fêtes de Chez Nous de l’ACFA régionale de Centralta a organisé l’évènement en collaboration avec Chemin Chez Nous et l’équipe de bénévoles du café Higher Grounds de Morinville.
Sous le soleil de mai, les invités ont pu; savourer les délicieux sandwichs au porc effiloché avec salsa à la mangue du Food Truck “StreetSide Celebration”; assister au concert en plein air du duo Brasser Brassens en tournée en Alberta; siroter un bon cappuccino préparé par les spécialistes du café Higher Grounds et terminer la soirée par une barn dance sous les étoiles.
