A big congratulations goes out to our MCHS Track Team for their terrific performance at the Zone Meet/Provincial Qualification Meet Thursday at Foote Field in Edmonton. Our Wolves came in second over-all — we were leading until the relays but could not hold the lead to RF Staples.
I believe this was the smallest group we have ever had with 20 athletes but they were absolutely outstanding in their events and were amazing ambassadors for our school. I am very proud of them — plus 14 of the 20 athletes qualified for Provincials (which is a large number for our school) June 3rd & 4th at Foote Field in Edmonton by finishing 1st or 2nd.
