We be jammin’

Morinville Community High School’s Urban Agriculture Class got together at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre June 7 to make jam. The program received a Toyota Evergreen Grant a couple of years ago and planted a variety of berries and rhubarb around the school.

“Two years later we now have full bushes of haskap and rhubarb plants,” said teacher Neil Korotash, adding the class worked on learning to make jam from the fruits they grew.
