Library Summer Reading Program shows the force is strong in these ones

The Morinville Community Library’s Star Wars-themed Summer Reading Program kicked off this week with a special craft evening Tuesday night, where young Padawans had the chance to make Jedi robes and light sabres.

The program continues Thursday night from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a showing of Episode 4: A New Hope, the movie that started the series.

Event cost is $10.00, which includes pizza, snack and a drink. Participants need to be registered in the program at no cost and have a current library card.

Visit the library for a full list of Summer Reading Program activities.
