Council had the shortest meeting of their term so far this week following a round of brief reports and motions to rescind a few redundant bylaws that were largely formalities. In total, the meeting took just over 18 minutes before adjournment.

The meeting only barely met quorum with Mayor Lisa Holmes, Councillor Rob Ladouceur and Councillor Nicole Boutestein not in attendance. Deputy Mayor Brennan Fitzgerald called in from Winnipeg to attend the meeting.

Council does not typically meet in July. Council will return at their next regular meeting on Aug. 30.
