Town has opportunity to get rid of a few things

Morinvillians had an opportunity to lighten their loads on Saturday with two community events.
H&R Block brought in Iron Mountain Canada to securely shred sensitive documents. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about protecting their privacy. The annual event was free for all participants.

The twice yearly Reuse It or “Loose” It event took place Saturday at the Skyline Ball Diamonds. People had the opportunity to drop off good but unwanted materials for others to take away for free.

A crew of 11 volunteers and public works staff managed a larger-than-normal volume of materials coming in and out.

The initiative, started by Morinville resident Cynthia Wandler, greatly helps keep usable materials out of the local landfill.
