Morinville resident and country musician Justin Hogg was excited to find out last week that he’d made the final round of the Association of Country Music in Alberta Awards in the Male Artist of the Year category.
Hogg made the announcement on his Facebook page Dec. 4.
“I don’t have the words to explain how grateful I am for the folks that support me as I continue to develop as an artist,” Hogg wrote. “I am blessed with amazing mentors, and there’s no way I’d be where I am without them.”
Hogg will go to Red Deer Jan. 21 and 22 to learn if he is this year’s winner. The gala and 2016 Alberta Country Music Awards take place Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. They will be broadcast live on Shaw TV.
