Morinville’s Champion Petfoods receives Alberta Exporter of the Year

Morinville’s Champion Petfoods has been named Alberta Exporter of the Year by Alberta Export Awards. The company also took home the top prize in the Consumer Products category for the third year in a row. The Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and JWN presented both awards.

This is a testament to our team’s commitment to innovation and furthering our vision to be trusted by pet lovers everywhere.”

The Alberta Export Awards recognize the success and innovative approach of Alberta’s export companies as well as a company that has excelled in international market penetration, making significant contributions to the development of the provincial economy.

The Consumer Products Award recognizes organizations that specialize in and export direct-to-consumer or retail market products.

Champion Petfoods key products – ACANA and ORIJEN – are biologically appropriate foods that mirror a dog’s and cat’s evolutionary diet. The products, made in the company’s own kitchens, focus on fresh regional ingredients
