Morinville RCMP investigate armed robbery in Gibbons

On September 3, 2017 the Morinville RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at a business in the Town of Gibbons, Alberta. The RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspects involved.

At 2:10 a.m., two males entered the business; one armed with what appeared to be a handgun and one suspect carried a canister of bear spray. The business was open at the time and the suspects demanded the employee to open the till, the safe and the VLTs. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the location.

The suspects were described as white males, in their late 20s with slender builds. The two suspects were dressed in dark coveralls, balaclavas and gloves. The males entered the business through the front entrance and left through the rear entrance on foot.

Neither the employee nor the two customers in the establishment were injured during this altercation.

Attached are photographs of the suspects and persons of interest. The Morinville RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects or identifying the persons of interest. The persons of interest may be able to assist in identifying the suspects.
