Champion Petfoods expanding Morinville operation

Champion Petfoods is expanding its operations in Morinville with construction of a new $5.9 million product development facility. The 9,500 square foot facility, announced Nov. 17, will be known as the BAFRINO Research and Innovation Centre and will be located behind Champion’s existing administrative offices. Display to show area farms as they looked in years gone by

The farmsteads that dotted the countryside in the 1950s are mostly long gone, sacrificed to agricultural progress. However the bygone era will be summoned again in photographs to be displayed in Morinville this week as part of a travelling photo exhibit which will visit a few northern Alberta communities in November.
