Catholic Board and ATA Local No. 23 ratify agreement

St. Albert – Greater St. Albert Roman Catholic Separate School District No. 734 (GSACRD) and the ATA Local No. 23, have both ratified a 4-year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will be effective for the term of Sept. 1, 2012 to Aug. 31, 2016 for all teaching staff. Heating company teams with seniors to warm some hearts this holiday season

Morinville – A local heating company learned there is more than one way to heat a home or a heart last season. Quinn’s Plumbing and Heating teamed up with the residents of Heritage Lodge to make handmade blankets available to those in need. The 30 blankets were distributed through the Midstream Support Society and Alexander First Nation. This year, the Quinn family has once again partnered with the lodge, this time to provide blankets for the Little Warriors’ Wrapped With Love campaign that will provide quilts to victims of child sex abuse…. Local company makes baking from scratch easy

Morinville – A local couple is taking the stress out of baking from scratch by offering pre-packaged baking mixes they say taste just like you spent hours in the kitchen. Tasha and Darren Potiuk are the owners of Aunt Maud’s Baking Mixes, a company that manufactures 10 products, including three that are gluten-free, one of which is egg and dairy free.
