By Stephen Dafoe

Morinville – The Morinville Jets’ 5-3 win over the Leduc Schwab Riggers Sunday afternoon extended the Junior B club’s winning streak to three consecutive games, something the Jets have not been able to do since the beginning of the season when they pulled off back-to-back wins against the Stony Plain Flyers, Edmonton Mustangs and St. Albert Merchants over an eight-day period.

By Stephen Dafoe

Morinville – Friday night’s 7-6 shootout loss to the North Edmonton Red Wings (13-6-2) was a decidedly different contest than the 12-1 defeat the Wings dealt the Jets Oct. 20, and shows just how well the Jets can play hockey when they want to.

By Stephen Dafoe

Morinville – The Titans’ cheer squad got a real workout Sunday night running up and down the bleachers whenever their team rippled the mesh. Given the Titans’ 11-6 victory over the Edmonton Ice, the squad seemed to run the length of the rink as much as the team they were cheering for.
