Morinville Farmers’ Market resumes this Friday

The Morinville Farmers’ Market resumes at the Ray McDonald Sports Center Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The market will continue indoors weekly until June except for Good Friday.

Market Manager Korien Sampson said the indoor market had about 15 vendors when it shut down for the Christmas break. She is anticipating ten vendors to start this week and to grow the selection in coming weeks. […]

Morinville Arena open to donations for Slave Lake

Morinville – The Ray McDonald Sports Centre will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for residents to make donations to the Slave Lake relief efforts.

Immediate requirements are for pet food, toiletries, towels, face cloths, non-perishables and men’s clothing for residents taking shelter in Westlock and children’s items, including infant formula, diapers and cribs for those being housed in Athabasca. […]
