Dear Editor:
I would like to express my sincere appreciation on your coverage of our various Rotary Club of Morinville programs. Your articles are always informative and current. Our Rotary members are all volunteers and work hard to give back to the local communities and the world. Over the last 14 years the Rotary Club of Morinville has given at least $500,000 to the Morinville community, local High School student programs and International projects. With your excellent articles the word is being spread of what Rotary does.
Our Charter Night and fundraiser held on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 was a great success. In addition to yourself, I would like to thank all our Rotary Club of Morinville members, event volunteers, the generous Morinville, Sturgeon County and area individuals and business community who contributed to this successful event. Also I would like to thank the local business community, the Town of Morinville and our Rotarians for sponsoring our current gazebo project at the Splash Park. The local community is very generous. Our theme for our Charter Event was “Today I’m Gonna Try And Change The World” and I know with the support of our community, our Rotary members and our projects we will “Change the World.”
Again Stephen, thank you for your support of our Rotary Club. You are an asset to our community.
