Vipers extend winning streak to five games

Legal – The Legal Vipers picked up their fifth consecutive win, handily defeating the visiting 1-11-0 Rocky Rams 14-2.

During the contest, the Vipers picked up their first goal within a minute of the opening face off and averaged nearly five goals per period for the remaining 59 minutes.

The victory brings the Vipers’ record to 8-30 and positions them in third slot in the North Central Hockey League standings, two points behind the second-place Onoway Ice dogs and four points behind the league-leading Drayton Valley Wildcats.

The Vipers take on the Ice Dogs for the third time this season this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at the Legal Arena. The past two outings have resulted in losses for the Vipers.
