Bon Accord – Although it’s still a few months away, Bon Accord is already planning for the arrival of someone from the Dragon’s Den, the popular CBC entrepreneurial show. The town announced Tuesday it had managed to attract Arlene Dickinson, one of the judges on the show.
Dickinson is the show’s marketing expert, its lone female judge, and one of its breakout stars. Ranked as one of Profit magazine’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs for seven years running, Dickenson is considered one of the most powerful female business leaders in Canada today.
The CBC personality and CEO of Venture Communications is set to be one of the speakers at the Business Symposium set for June 8 at the Bon Accord Arena. The event is scheduled to run from 1 to 4 p.m.
The symposium is looking to bring in other speakers.
