This past weekend was full of activities of a formal and less than formal nature. here are some photographic highlights.

12-year-old Samuel Dmytrow was one of two winners of the positive ticketing program for April. Dmytrow was spotted riding his bike while wearing his helmet and given a positive ticket by Community Peace Officer James Alaeddine. The safety-conscious rider received a certificate and a cheque for $100.

...and speaking of squirrels, local metal band Squirrel Kite opened and closed the May 6 edition of Hot Dogma at Higher Grounds coffee shop. The Friday night talent show was well attended and drew a variety of acts, including singers, dancers and a magic clown.
Donovan Jarvis was one of the acts at Friday night's Hot Dogma. Jarvis, a freestyle dancer, was a hit at the local coffee shop as well as at the MCHS Cofee House talent show held in March.
