Morinville – Three MCHS students are off to Drayton Valley Tuesday to compete in the Frank Lindsay Alberta Junior Boys Championship taking place July 5 – 8 at the Drayton Valley Golf Club.
Sean Bulger, Quinton Bunten-Walberg and Bryce Melville earned a spot in the provincial golf championship after qualifying in Devon June 26. The event will bring 140 junior golfers from across the province.
Bulger (17) and Bunten-Walberg (18) play on the MCHS golf team; however Melville (15) is too young for the school team. Regardless of age, the three junior golfers will be looking to unseat defending champion, Carson Kallis.
