Notre Dame picks up two 6th place showings in St. Albert Run

St. Albert – Notre Dame Elementary’s School’s Running Club took to the trails Thursday afternoon for a 1.5 kilometre race. In total, 29 students participated in four categories of race along with students from St. Albert.
Notre Dame picked up two sixth place showings and another pair of placements in the top ten. A total of 363 students competed.

Grade 5 student Carson Henry took sixth place in the Grade 5 Boys race, outpacing 83 of the 89 competitors in his category.
Grade 4 student Makayla Sneddon also took sixth place in her category, outpacing 92 other girls. Miss Sneddon was followed closely behind by Riley Smith (8th place) and Jaide Lammeren (10th place).

Notre Dame’s strongest showing in Grade 4 Boys competition was from Audrian Dzurilla who finished 39th out of 101 boys competing in the race.

In Grade 5 Girls, Leigh-Anne Stelter provided Notre Dame with the best placement at 23rd out of 77 competitors.
