Morinville – The doors to the Morinville Mac’s convenience store were closed Tuesday morning for several hours to allow a transfer from one management team to another. The running of the local convenience store passed between Hardip Gill and Barry and Rimpal Patel.

Gill, who has run the Morinville store with his wife for the past two years, has taken over a larger Mac’s store in Edmonton. The Patels who took over the store Tuesday afternoon, are well-known in Morinville as the franchise owners of the Morinville Subway, a shop that was recognized as North American Subway franchise of the year in 2010.

Barry and Rimpal will continue to run the Subway location and are looking forward to serving and providing the same level of service to Morinville residents at both locations.
