Barrhead –Morinville-Westlock PC Association members have chosen their man to run in the next provincial election. MLA and Speaker of the Alberta Legislature Ken Kowalski has once again been chosen by the association as their candidate.

Deadline for nominations was 10 a.m. Thursday and Kowalski’s were the only papers filed.

“Ken has proven time and time again to been a hard working, dedicated, and progressive MLA for our constituency,” said John Tiemstra, President of the Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock PC Association in a release Thursday. “We know he will continue to represent our interests with integrity in the legislature and continue to contribute greatly to the quality of lie in our constituency.”

The nomination is Kowalski’s tenth in the region. The long-serving politician put questions of his retiring from politics to rest in August during an association barbecue in Barrhead. At that time, Kowalski said he would seek the nomination for the association.

Please join us in congratulating Ken on his 10th nomination for our region.”
