Morinville – The bargains are still on at Pleasant Homes in Morinville. The company’s annual charity garage sale, held over the weekend, has been extended to Nov. 5. Although many bargain hunters attended the weekend event, the event fell short of expectations and Pleasant Homes decided to run it through this week.
Proceeds from the annual charity garage sale are matched dollar for dollar by Pleasant Homes and are donated to the Morinville Food Bank Society. Last year, the event raised $2,700 which was matched by the local business to provide the Food Bank with $5,400. The company is hoping to do as well or better this year.
Pleasant Homes will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day, and are still accepting items to be
sold over the next five days.
