Vanier Kindergarten students Olivia St Onge, Tyra Gulka, Mattais Kidd and Katelyn Strand just prior to entering the gym for their Christmas performance. Sixty-four Kindergarten students entertained the many parents, family and friends that filled Vanier's gym Dec. 20. The performance included songs in English and French. Songs included Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Must Be Santa, La Neige and We Wish You A Merry Christmas. - Lucie Roy Photo BANDING TOGETHER - Georges H. Primeau and MCHS band students pooled their talents Dec. 20 for a Christmas band concert at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. The wind, brass and percussion show filled the seats with parents and family and the auditorium with the sound of music. - Stephen Dafoe Photo FIRE CALL - 100 Street was closed briefly Dec. 20 as firefighters investigated a call at 9604 100 Street. Several vehicles were on scene including Morinville aerial truck and a pumper from Legal. Ladder 4 has quickly raised to battle any flames; however, the matter was dealt with successfully on the ground.
