The Sturgeon Hockey Club Atom C2 Mustangs played their final round of playoffs in the 16-60 League this weekend against the Rivière Qui Barre Huskies. It was a most-goals-in-two-games series and they were led to victory by Head Coach Steve Chatry. The team worked hard all season to get to this point. This was the 45th game the little Atom team played, and they took the two-game series 11-7. The team’s coaches have watched the team grow and blossom all season long and they and the team were rewarded Mar. 11 on home ice with the Championship Banner. – Submitted Photo

David LeBel belts out a song Friday night while Gordon LeBel plays. The musicians are two thirds of Edgore, a rock band that played Higher Grounds Friday night. The band’s third member is drummer Esther Terhorst. Edgore shared the bill with St. Albert-based band, the Flukes.
