O Canada
Vanier Grade 1 students were assembled in the computer room to listen to the Morinville Lions Club President Carrie Foss read a story about the Canadian flag last week. The students were each presented with a flag and a certificate. For the first time in the history of the Club they also presented a Lions Club Colouring and Activity Book to each student. Project Pride is designed to help students have pride in the country and its flag, and to encourage them to enjoy Canada Day. Grades 2 and 3 also received colouring books.
