Theft from vehicles in Bon Accord

In the early morning of June 16, several vehicles parked on 90 Street near 99 Avenue in Bon Accord had damage to their side mirrors. Morinville RCMP are still looking for possible witness to this event.

Sometime in the evening of June 16 and the early morning of June 17 several vehicles in Bon Accord were broken into. Morinville RCMP believe these two incidents in Bon Accord are related and are asking anyone who may have noticed something suspicious on those dates to come forward.

Morinville RCMP would like to remind all persons to keep their vehicles locked when not attended.

Commercial Break and enter in Legal

On June 14 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Morinville RCMP responded to a commercial break and enter at the Legal CO-OP card lock located on secondary Highway 651 just east of Highway 2. Subsequent investigation revealed unknown individual(s) pried open the door of the shed where all the computer equipment was stored. All the camera system and computers were stolen. It is believed the incident took place between the hours of 5 a.m. and 6:50 a.m. on June 14.

Residential Break an enter in Bon Accord

On June 14 Morinville RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter into two houses (newly built) located on Bon Acres Crescent in Bon Accord. Subsequent investigation revealed that unknown individual(s) pried open the entrance door of both residences. Some witnesses advised they noticed a large cube van white in colour with no writing on the side parked in the driveways on June 12 and June 13. Several items were stolen from the residences, including furnaces, hot water tanks and sump pumps.

Morinville RCMP would like to remind the public that if they witness something unusual around houses that are for sale, or under construction, to notify the RCMP immediately.

Mischief to golf carts

On June 9 at approximately 2:04 p.m., Morinville RCMP received a complaint from Hunters Green Golf Club located on Township Road 542 near Range Road 244 advising that unknown individual(s) had entered their premise and did extensive damage to some of their golf carts. Two of their golf carts were missing and were later recovered in the bush across the road from the golf course with an estimate $3,000 worth of damage. It is believed that the incident took place between the late hours of June 7 and the early morning of June 9.
