Here’s what’s going on this weekend
Customer appreciation
JDR Insurance and Investors Group are inviting the community to their annual customer appreciation BBQ friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hotdogs and pop will be served by donation with all proceeds going towards the Morinville Food Bank.
Softball tournament
Morinville softball teams will assemble at the Skyline Diamonds this weekend for the wrap up tournament of their season. Games are set to be played Friday through Sunday.
Election information
If you are considering running in the Morinville bi-election, an information session on what the job entails is set for Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Morinville Community Library’s program room. The event is put on by the AUMA’s Women in Municipal Politics Committee. The event is open to men and women.
