Hallelujah!
Dr. Joy Berg conducts Edmonton’s Concordia Symphony Orchestra, Concordia Chorus and soloists from ProCoro Canada during the Hallelujah Chorus, the most recognized part of George Friedrich Händel’s Messiah. The Sunday afternoon concert drew an audience of approximately 300 to the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. Hats off to them
Sheila Houle looks over a selection of baked goods with the assistance of Iris Mathieson at the Christmas Bake & Craft Sale
held Saturday at the United Church. Craft tables, silent auction and Christmas decorations were up for grabs at this fundraiser hosted by the Morinville and Area Group of H.A.T.S. (Hands Across The Sea). HATS is a group of Canadian Grandmothers raising money for African Grandmothers to help care for the orphans of parents who have died from AIDS. – Lucie Roy Photo
