Corporate Operations would like to remind everyone that a new Traffic Safety Bylaw is scheduled for third and final Reading January 22nd 2013. Some of the major changes include:

• Section 205 – Alley parking – load & unloading goods to 30 minutes.

• Section 301 Unattached Trailers – includes all forms of trailers and parking a trailer while unhitched from the vehicle used to transport is prohibited in all highways in Town of Morinville.

• Section 308 – School buses will be required to use their flashing warning lights during loading and unloading passengers on a highway except in an approved bus loading areas.

• Sections 707 and 708 – provide guidelines and requirements for signage with in a highway right a-way.
