Local realtor takes another award

Edmonton – Re/Max realtor Linda Getzlaf has received the Medallion Award from The Realtors Association of Edmonton for the second consecutive year. Getzlaf was presented the award Mar. 8 at the association’s ball at the Westin Hotel.

The Medallion program acknowledges the top 5 per cent of the Realtors Association of Edmonton’s 3,200 broker and associate membership who successfully assisted clients to buy or sell real estate through the Edmonton Multiple Listing Service in 2012.

Gezlaf said she was pleased to win the award two years in a row. “When I won the award, I felt excited and grateful to all those that made it happen,” she said. “It’s a great accomplishment and I am honoured to have received it.”

The realtor has been in the industry for five years and has held the number one position for individual sales in Morinville for two consecutive years. In her third year she received third position for individual sales in Morinville. Over the past five years she has also received the RE/MAX 100% Club Award twice and recently received the Platinum Award for individual sales in 2012.

She attributes her success to hard work, countless hours away from home and getting out in the community and spending time with people. “I have lived, worked and volunteered in the community for 25 years and raised my family here,” Getzlaf said. “I pride myself on honesty, integrity and a professional approach to all types of property sales. Whether its an apartment condo or an 80-acre hobby farm, I will do my very best to help all my clients with all their real estate needs. I am proud to serve Morinville and area and will definitely be around for the next 25 years.”
