Wildrose’s Rob Anderson to speak in Morinville Monday night

A Financial Recovery Plan For Alberta is the title of a public meeting scheduled for May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Morinville Rendez-Vous Centre.

Wildrose MLA and Opposition Finance Critic Rob Anderson is the scheduled speaker for the evening.

The Wildrose are asking why the Redford government’s finances are in a mess when the province’s economy is strong. Organizers are inviting residents to attend and to hear what the Wildrose are calling constructive alternatives.

Oh No Canada!
Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s an upside down maple leaf. A broken pulley is said to have caused something to go astray on the flag pole outside Morinville Public Elementary School. We’re pretty sure it will be rectified pretty quick. – Stephen Dafoe Photo

Editor’s Note: The pulley was fixed, righting the flag the following morning.

What a difference a week makes
