Champion Petfoods CEO Frank Burdzy and Morinville Festival Society Chair Paul Smith pose with Champion’s donation towards this season’s festival.

“The big event for Morinville right now is the Harvest Food and Jam Festival October 4-6,” said Champion Petfoods President and CEO, Frank Burdzy. “We want to give local residents, friends, and our team another opportunity to enjoy Morinville at this inaugural festival. It’s going to be a rockin’ and tasty time.”

The festival will feature a variety of activities, including a major rock show at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, plenty of food-related opportunities, activities for dog lovers, and plenty of German heritage events.

Burdzy said his company is committed to Morinville and its festivals well beyond this October’s event.

“We’re truly thrilled again in 2014 to partner with the Morinville Festival Society, its passionate volunteers, and dedicated sponsors,” he said. “Their teamwork is deeply appreciated. This $20,000 investment will help provide Morinville a festival for all seasons.”
