Morinville Jets on the win

Morinville – Home ice proved a recipe for success for the Morinville Jets last week. The club earned back-to-back wins Tuesday and Sunday night.

The Jets started the week with an 8-1 win over the visiting Edmonton Mustangs and capped the week with an 11-5 victory over the Leduc Schwab Riggers.

The Jets currently sit with a 4-3-0 record and are in third place in the Capital Junior Hockey League’s West Division, and are tied for sixth place in the league overall.

Branden Domoslai is currently leading the team with four goals and four assists. Veterans Nick Pratt and Justin Proulx are tied with five goals and two assists each.

The club takes to the road for their next game. The Jets play the (2-5-0) Spruce Grove Regals Wednesday night in Spruce Grove. They return home Sunday night for a 6:45 p.m. game against the (3-5-0) Edmonton Royals.
