Morinville – Higher Grounds Espresso Bar in downtown Morinville will hold one of their Hot Dogma talent nights Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

“We like to see local talent come in and perform,” said Higher Grounds volunteer manager Crystal Terhorst. “We provide a warm, welcoming venue for young people or anyone whether they want to sing, play an instrument, read something from a book they wrote or recite poetry. We’re welcome to any kind of local talent.”
The Nov. 15 edition of Hot Dogma will be hosted by local musician Ryley Quinn, who will serve as emcee and play with his band.

Terhorst said the coffee house has been doing the talent nights for about two years and has seen a variety of talent coming in. Although most of the entertainers have been musicians, the talent has ranged from magic to dance.
“People enjoy themselves,” Terhorst said. “They come to support the talent. some people come for an evening out.”

The Hot Dogma show will take place Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. There is no cost for admission to the event.
