Festival weekend markets see double

by Morinville News Staff

Morinville – Those hitting the streets of Morinville this festival weekend will have an opportunity to do some of their Christmas shopping at two festival markets. The annual Christmas Farmers’ Market and Craft Sale will take place at Morinville Community High School Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a second Christmas sale will run concurrently at the Morinville Rendez-Vous Centre.

The Annual Christmas Farmers’ Market & Craft Fair will host more than 70 vendors; each offering home baked or crafted items. There is a $2 admission for the sale, the proceeds of which go to the Friends of the Morinville Public Library.

Organizers of the Christmas Sale at the Rendez-Vous Centre say their sale will feature a great selection of the best home-based businesses. In addition to the opportunity to purchase items, the event will hold a raffle with proceeds going to Santas Anonymous. Admission to the Christmas Sale is free.

  1. Kids can also drop off their letters to Santa at the Christmas Farmers Market on Saturday, in the high school. Canada post employees will deliver them to Santa right after the parade!
