Meet The Sturgeon Initiation 1 Timbits

The Initiation 1 Timbits boast a line-up full of talented young 5 and 6 year olds, only 2 and 3 years into their long hockey careers. Under the tutelage of Head Coach Kent Swanson, the boys are focusing on respect, hustle and positioning to get many of the fellas ready for the jump to Novice next year. The team already has more than half dozen exhibition games under their belt this season with the Timbits coming out on top in all but one thanks to their resilient effort in each contest. They all headed north to Slave Lake in December for their first tournament of the season and had a great team building day coming out on top! The team is continuing to grow and learn with lots of the year ahead of them yet.
