The Morinville Community Library is excited to announce its Sunday services are expanding. In addition to being open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Sunday, patrons can now reserve the program room and use it for a unique birthday party experience. The room can accommodate up to 15 children, and at no extra cost, party guests will have access to the library’s extensive Lego collection, high-definition video projector and popcorn machine. Come visit the library or call (780-939-3292) to get further information and book the room today!

Providing a clean and safe venue for birthday parties is just one of the many services that the library provides for the local community. The library first began trialing Sundays in May, 2013, to see how many patrons would use the facility. The trial proved successful, with the average number of patrons visiting the library rising from 16 per Sunday in May to 34 per Sunday in October. Given this success, the Library Board has voted to continue operating with Sunday hours for the duration of the year. By having extended hours, the library is able to serve patrons seven days a week.

The library hours are: Mon – Thu: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.,Fri: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sat: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sun: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Closed for Statutory Holidays
