More than 50 teachers, parents and children volunteered at Notre Dame School in aid of the school’s Green Team. TD Bank of Canada donated $12,099.00 for the school to plant new trees and plants, build three new raised gardens, and construct some new benches around the school yard. On Friday the goal was to clean the front of the school, clean up sand from the sidewalk near the playground, build three garden beds, and clean out the small original garden bed. Other projects are scheduled for another work party in the near future.
