The Town of Morinville are advising of a number of development permits, a public hearing and an opportunity for residents to have their voice heard on Council’s revisions to the photo enforcement program. See below for details.

DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PUBLIC NOTICE

Take notice that the following Development Permit(s) listed below has been approved in accordance with Morinville Land Use Bylaw 3/2012.

DP102/2014 – Single Detached Dwelling, 8408-95 Street (Lot 18 Block 3 Plan 062 5072) – Minimum Required Rear Yard Variance (R-1B District). DP110/2014 – Single Detached Dwelling, 9606-83 Avenue (Lot 3 Block 3 Plan 062 5072) – Minimum Required Rear Yard – Variance (R-1B District).

DP120/2014 – Outdoor Play Space – Accessory to Child Care Facility, 10601 – 100 Avenue and 10513 – 100 Avenue (Lot 2, Block A, Plan 792 2048 and Lot 3A, Block A, Plan 802 1047) – Discretionary Use (C-2 District).

Persons wishing to appeal the above noted decision(s) of Morinville’s Development Authority must do so by filing a “NOTICE OF APPEAL”, along with payment of a $200 nonrefundable fee to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, NO LATER THAN JULY 02, 2014. Appeals can be filed with the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board by calling 780-939-4361.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On June 24, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Council will hold a Public Hearing on proposed Bylaw 14/2014. The Public Hearing will be held in the Council
Chambers in St. Germain Place at 10125 – 100 Avenue, Morinville.

You are invited to attend and provide your comments directly to Council. If you prefer to write to Council, send your written comments to the Legislative Officer at St. Germain Place or via email at jmaskoske@morinville.ca before 4:30 p.m. on June 23, 2014. These comments will be
reviewed as part of the hearing process.

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 14/2014 is to update Offsite Levy Bylaw 3/2009. Administration
supports this proposed bylaw.

The proposed Bylaw 14/2014 may be examined between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Office of the Town of Morinville Legislative Officer located at St. Germain Place.

Council will be holding a coffee conversation at Higher Grounds Espresso Bar June 25 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. to allow residents to Join Council for
a discussion on their vision for the Photo Enforcement Program in Morinville.
