The Morinville Farmers’ Market is hosting its first (of hopefully many) Country Fair, on Saturday August 23rd, 2014.
The Morinville Country Fair will kick off at 9 a.m. with a free pancake breakfast on 104 Street, and will be followed by a Farmers’ Market and Bench Show (best potato, carrot, quilt, knitted items, photography, sheep, llama, pig, chicken etc).
There are many various activities planned during the day, including a watermelon eating competition, a lumberjack challenge, mechanical bull riding and lots of old fashioned games for kids and adults.
The Morinville Country Fair will end with the Farm-to-Table Dinner on 104 Street and a street dance with music provided by The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! The Street Dance begins at 9 p.m. and everyone is welcome! There is no cost for the street dance.
