Hockey heritage
Norm Meunier poses with a photo of the 1933 Morinville Hockey Team. His father Gustave (Gus) Meunier is pictured third from left in the back row. Gus was raised on a farm west of Morinville. He was asked to play hockey for the Edmonton Eskimos team prior to Edmonton Flyers. Gus played hockey in Morinville as did Norm. Norm’s son Raymond and great grandchildren Chantal, Joel Josh and Ty Meunier are all hockey fans.

Coyotes take 2nd spot
The Georges H Primeau Coyotes attended the Redwater Tournament Friday and Saturday and finished with Silver Our Lady of Perpetual Help from Sherwood Park took the top slot after defeating Primeau 62-22 in the final.
